Enabling Teachers to Teach

SPORK provides proven math curriculum, but the secret sauce is combining our math curriculum with dynamic tools for teachers to efficiently and effectively teach math.

iPlanner

The iPlanner is the teacher's workspace to work within and customize the class based on how the teacher wants to teach.

  • Organized Units & Lesons with all the resources needed to teach a class.

  • Ability to add resources or lessons

  • Dynamic iPlanner Calendar, where

teachers can track course progress to the school year or adjust plans at the click of a button.

  • Review student self-assessment dashboards, which will help the teacher understand where additional teaching or resources need to be applied.

Kit

The Kit is a digital textbook, providing the structure of the content. The Kit includes thorough explanations and example problems, along with practice problems and homework.

Virtual Class

The Virtual Class is the interactive component of the SPORK platform.

  • Students provide their self-assessment feedback and turn in their assignments through the student portal. For Butterfly Math & Science, the students engage with games.

  • Teachers utilize engagement tools with polling and game comprehension monitoring. They also collect assigments through the Classroom.

Lesson Planning

There's not enough time to effectively plan and teach. SPORK Math provides an out-of-the-box math solution, including curriculum and planning.

  • Complete math content with systematically sequenced units, lessons, and lesson resources.

  • SPORK provides before class, in class, and after class structures and best practices.

SPORK empowers teachers to teach, not spend hours planning for classes.

SPORK highlights the importance that strong scaffolding plays in learning. It engages teachers in their lessons further than our previous curriculum. Teachers can easily reflect on the students’ understanding of the lesson. This level of engagement makes for better teaching and better learning.
